Eyeblaster Workshop™ for Adobe Flash®

We’re a large interactive agency – we do some of the largest media buys in the market and we do multiple campaigns every week, generally consisting of about 40% rich media.
During this Beta test, how much did you use the Workshop?
I used it quite a bit. I’ve been using it a lot the last week or two. Works great – I love it.
What projects did you use the Workshop with?
I’m using it right now on a campaign for a prominent home builder. We’re doing custom expandable banners, which include about 60 custom interactions.
Workshop helps me see how the moving pieces interact, that alone saves a lot of time. And the bundle is nice – it packages everything for me and eliminates the assembly process. We’re used to looking at the web interface and uploading each asset separately, then setting up each ad, attaching assets, etc. But with Workshop, I just set up my settings in Flash and it bundles it. It “clicks all the buttons for me,” so to speak.
The Preview is great, too. In the past, when we made a change to an ad, we’d have to upload it to the system to preview it. That took up the majority of our time. We’d to have to upload changes 10 times in an hour. Workshop cuts all that out, because I preview it right in Flash.
Did it save you time?
It did. If I’m spending eight hours on a rich media unit, Workshop cuts about two hours off that total.
How does Workshop affect your workload?
It helps me pump out more creatives in less time. You spend the majority of your time working on the first one. Then after that, it’s just tweaking. Workshop allows us to do all our tweaking at our desktop. Thanks to Workshop, they could even throw in a new size at the last minute and we’d be able to get it done. Deadlines are often tight, so being able to breathe helps.
