Rich Media Platform Tips & Tricks

The Eyeblaster Rich Media Platform is constantly undergoing enhancements to better serve your needs. Functionality shortcuts provide users more efficient and intuitive ways to navigate and locate the data regarding campaigns, flights, ads and reports.
Here are some quick tips & tricks that were designed to create a more streamlined way of viewing and testing data.
- Multiple Creative Uploads – When uploading SWF files to the Eyeblaster Platform you can upload all your creative in one upload.
- Testing SWF Files – You can test your SWF files before uploading them by clicking on the “Tools” tab. Simply select the file you want to test and you will be able to do real time testing of the file in the Eyeblaster Interface.
- Double-click Feature - All list items in the Eyeblaster Rich Media Platform can be opened by double-clicking on the item when it’s highlighted.
- Right-click Shortcuts - While the mouse is hovering over a highlighted line, you can bring up the options that are available to that specific item.
- Data Filters - Utilize the Eyeblaster Data Filters to quickly access campaign, flight or ad information. The Eyeblaster Data Filters allow you to filter using one or two criteria.
- Real Time Statistics - Real Time Statistics can be accessed by clicking on Real Time Stats under Reports on the main navigation. This information is updated for the current day’s delivery.
- Related Content Size Display - An easy way to find the overall file size for an Eyeblaster ad is the related content size display. This is available on the lower-right hand side of the Ad Format tab in any ad.
- Creative Asset Review - You can view the details of a specific creative by previewing an asset under the Ad Format tab. This window allows you to view what the creative looks like, as well as view the “Flash Events Monitor” to verify that the creative was built correctly.

Online Users Spend More Than 30 Seconds Viewing Expanded Panels
The average time an Eyeblaster expandable banner is kept open is more than 34 seconds. In fact, 70% of Eyeblaster ad categories had panels expanded for over half a minute. In verticals such as B2B, Sports and Telecom, the time spent with an expanded panel is nearly one minute. When planning your next campaign, keep in mind that expandable banners are an effective way to actively engage your audience.
